Little Lambs Nursery Provision @ Barkisland School!
Starting nursery school is one of the most important milestones in a child's life and it is important that the right provision is chosen for your child.
If your child is due to start nursery school, appointments can be made through the School Office to meet with one of the Unit Managers and have a tour of our Early Years setting. Families can also book a tour during our annual open day. Please email admin@barkisland.calderdale.sch.uk or call the School Office: 01422 823324 to arrange.
Our provision runs within our Early Years Unit. We have capacity for 24 Nursery-aged children and we can admit children the term following their 3rd birthday. Parents and Carers are able to use their free 15/30 hours free entitlement for our Nursery provision. Other sessions can be added but will incur an additional charge and these are subject to availability.
We offer lunches at an extra charge (£2.50 per meal) which are made, fresh on site, each day. We are a NUT FREE school and we are also able to cater for all diets and work closely with parents should their child have any specific allergies.
We are also able to offer additional chargeable sessions for wrap around care from 7.30am until 6.00pm during term time. During holiday periods, we can offer childcare for our Nursery pupils from 8.00am until 6.00pm.
