Dear Parents and Carers
Please find below (at the bottom of the page) next year’s booking forms (academic and half termly) plus the annual Charges and Remissions Policy for Kids Club, should you need to use this provision during the next academic year. These forms need to be completed together to secure your Kids Club booking. Please forward your completed forms to kidsclub@barkisland.calderdale.sch.uk They are available in both word and PDF formats.
Please note that all families who will have registered pupils at the school each September, will be issued with the booking forms. All bookings will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Therefore, it is advisable to complete your booking requirements as soon as possible to secure your place(s).
Due to General Data Protection Regulations 2018, please also find attached registration, consent and emergency treatment forms which need completing, for each child, to ensure we comply with these Regulations. If these forms are not completed and returned, we will not include you on future email correspondence, as we will assume you will no longer consent to being contacted via email.

Barkisland Kids Club and Holiday Club
Barkisland Kids' Club is a cool place to come and chill out with friends after school.
The club provides children with a breakfast club and after-school childcare for children aged 3 to 11 years and provides a multitude of activities that aid children’s development through play.
We also have a popular holiday club, providing seasonal activities, sporting opportunitities, crafts and team games.Check out our X (twitter) page here!
Staff
The staff team are qualified, caring, experienced, valued and well supported.
The club is run and managed by Jess Stott, our Kids Club Manager.
Kids Club Opening Times:
Morning Session: 7.30am to 8.55am
Afternoon Session: 3.30pm to 6.00pm
Kids Club Fees:
Morning: £5.50 (£5.00 for subsequent children)
Afternoon: £10.00 (£9.50 for subsequent children)
Holiday Club Opening times:
8am - 6pm
Holiday Club Fees:
£27.50 per day (£25 for susequent children)
Aims of our Club:
Our Club is committed to providing:
- Care and activities that put the needs and safety of children first.
- A programme of activities that is interesting, educational, stimulating and of course fun.
- Activities that promote each child’s Social, Physical, Moral and Intellectual development.
- Access to a variety of facilities and equipment under safe and supervised conditions.
- Services that meet the conditions of the Children’s Act 2006 and all other relevant legislation, wherever they apply.
- An environment where no child is bullied or intimidated or suffers discrimination of any form.
