Dear Parents and Carers,
We now use our School Spider system so you have full access to book and manage any Holiday Club bookings. Please contact kidsclub@barkisland.calderdale.sch.uk to get more information.
Please note that all families who will have registered pupils at the school each September, will have access to Holiday Club bookings. All bookings will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Therefore, it is advisable to complete your booking requirements as soon as possible on School Spider to secure your place(s).
Barkisland Kids Club
Barkisland Kids' Club is a cool place to come and chill out with friends after school.
The club provides children with a breakfast club and after-school childcare for children aged 3 to 11 years and provides a multitude of activities that aid children’s development through play.
Barkisland Holiday Club
The club provides children with all day childcare for children in Reception class to 11 years and provides a multitude of activities that aid children’s development through play. Children that attend Barkisland School's Little Lamb nursery provision also have access to our holiday club from the age of 3!
Our popular holiday club, provides seasonal activities, sporting opportunitities, crafts and team games.Check out our X (twitter) page here!
Bookings for each Holiday Club are made via our online payment platform (School Spider). For further information and to be added to this platform, please email kidsclub@barkisland.calderdale.sch.uk
Children who do not attend Barkisland School but who wish to use the Holiday Club provision will also need to complete registration, consent and emergency treatment forms. These can be found on the Holiday Club Bookings and Consent Form tab - please click on the Google Form links to complete for each child. These comply with with the to ensure we comply with General Data Protection Regulations 2018.
Staff
The staff team are qualified, caring, experienced, valued and well supported.
The club is run and managed by Jess Stott, our Kids Club Manager.
Kids Club Opening Times:
Morning Session: 7.30am to 8.55am
Afternoon Session: 3.30pm to 6.00pm
Kids Club Fees:
Morning: £5.50
Afternoon: £10.00
Holiday Club Opening times:
8am - 6pm
Holiday Club Fees:
£27.50 per day

Our Club is committed to providing:
- Care and activities that put the needs and safety of children first.
- A programme of activities that is interesting, educational, stimulating and of course fun.
- Activities that promote each child’s Social, Physical, Moral and Intellectual development.
- Access to a variety of facilities and equipment under safe and supervised conditions.
- Services that meet the conditions of the Children’s Act 2006 and all other relevant legislation, wherever they apply.
- An environment where no child is bullied or intimidated or suffers discrimination of any form.
